Glenys Eileen Attwood (nee Ryan)

It is with great sadness that the family of Glenys Attwood announce her passing on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in St. John’s, NL at the age of 74 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Edward Attwood; sons: Richard Attwood (Krista Attwood (Walters)) and Robert Attwood (Wendy Robinson); grandchildren: Nathan Attwood, Caden Attwood, Amy Attwood, Kara Attwood, Donovan Johnson, Ciaran Johnson; fur-baby: Sally; siblings: Kay Wheeler (Glenn), Robert Ryan (Marilyn), and Keith Ryan, as well as a wide circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and numerous beloved friends.
Glenys was predeceased by her parents: Reginald and Maisie Ryan (Mills).
Visitations will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday, October 28th from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, October 29th from the hours of 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted, or donations can be made to the SPCA or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
