Obituary of Whitfield Elliott
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Whitfield Thomas Elliott announce his passing on November 1, 2023, at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 75 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Lillian; and his daughter: Maylin (Duane) Blake. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers: Lloyd (Maxine), Walter (Yvonne); and his sister-in-law: Linda; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and friends.
Whitfield was predeceased by his parents: Jim and Minnie; his brother: Whyman; his parents-in-law: John and Bessie Woodward.
Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at 2:00 pm, from the Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL with Rev Amber Tremblett officiating. Interment to follow the service at the Anglican Cemetery.
Whitfield’s family would like to send special thanks to Floyd Hedderson for always being there for him.
