Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, Theresa Mary Cunning at Western Long Term Care in Corner Brook in her 96th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Baden (Christina), Doris (Debbie), George (Marie), Roy (Glenda), Denise (Todd) Seward, and Leonard (Anna); grandchildren: Angela, Baden Walter, Jeffrey, Brent, Glenn, Amy, Emily, Ryan, Jessie, Adam, Mark, Kevin, and Taylor; great-grandchildren: Selena, Lily, Grace, Ben, Zola, Max, Chase, Logan and Zoë; sisters: Adele and Bertha (Jim); special friends Fran and Jim Dawe; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roy, son Loyle; parents: Daniel and Marie Ellen Young; brothers: Martin, Matthew, Morris, Adrian, Cecil and Leonard; sisters: Geraldine and Denota.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue from the hours of 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon. The funeral service will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon David Russell officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
