Please share a memory of Janet to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janet Warr announce her passing on November 11th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 61.
Janet Warr was born on June 4th , 1962, in St. John’s, NL and moved to Goose Bay, NL in 1966 when the family relocated for Bert to work with Warr’s Pharmacy. She had three children and raised them in Goose Bay with the help of her father. She loved working with the public and worked with H&R Block, The Credit Union and finally at the Royal Bank. Janet had a big personality and even bigger heart. When she entered a room, she made sure you knew she was there, and you didn’t leave without a full heart. She loved to entertain company. Her smile and laughter were infectious. She loved her family fiercely; her children and grandchildren were her reason for living. Her courage, strength, and determination to face all her medical battles over the years was truly inspirational. She made this world a better place with her kind heart and positivity and her company was enjoyed by everyone.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Heather (Brian), Jillian, and Kayla (TJ). Her grandchildren: Kensley, Marlee, Liam and Lexi; her brother: Bert Jr. (Cindy) and sister: Donna (Mick). As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of close friends. Janet was predeceased by her parents: Betty and Bert Warr and her precious grandson: Colben.
