On November 12, 2023, Ha Tang a loving mother of two children and wife passed peacefully at age 47 after a brief illness. Born on September 29, 1976 to a large family in Vietnam. She is survived by her husband Thinh and her two children Henry and Samy Mai. In 2020, Ha and her family immigrated to Newfoundland for her children to have a better future, with her dreams left behind. Ha was an extremely talented woman and her desire was to open a restaurant. She loved her family, friends and her baking. She was a Buddhist and was converted to Catholicism.   Ha had great love and passion for the Blessed Virgin. She leaves to mourn her husband, the children, many relatives and friends. Ha especially will be remembered for her beautiful voice and her fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met. The family wishes to thank Father Edward Terry and Sr. Kay Rex for their wonderful spiritual support. May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday, November 14 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Anthony and Father Edward Terry officiating. Cremation to follow.
