April 18, 1964 - November 13, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Walter Fillatre announce his passing on November 13, 2023 at the age of 59 years in McKays, NL. 

Walter leaves to mourn his parents Charlotte (Hulan) Fillatre and Roy Fillatre; his children Ryan (Tara, Taivynn and Kaegan) King, Aaron (Kendall, Terrance, Payton) Fillatre, Andrew Fillatre, Savannah Fillatre and Blake Fillatre.  His brothers Eugene (Sandra & Casey), Hank (Lisa & Eric), Roger (Cassie, Breyden & Kolten) as well as many other friends and family members.

Walter was predeceased by his grandparents Leah & Walter Hulan and Susan & Francis Fillatre.

The family appreciates your generosity however are requesting that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

According to Walter’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Anglican church in Robinsons with Reverend Norman Cutler officiating.  Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery, McKays.

Funeral arrangements has been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
