Obituary of Dorothy Marie Specker (Card of Thanks)

Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

We, the family of the late Dorothy Specker, would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all, for the kindness, love and support shown to our family during this difficult time.  Your phone calls, home visits, online condolences, cards, flowers, donations and gifts of food were greatly appreciated.

We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Callahan, Dr. Skanes, Dr. Butt & Dr. Brushet. Dorothy held deep gratitude for your unwavering efforts and care during her brief illness.

Our gratitude extends to the compassionate nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Long-Term Care. Your genuine care and compassion during Dorothy’s stay were invaluable. You were all truly amazing.

A special acknowledgment goes to Father Terry for his compassionate visits to Dorothy, both at home and at Palliative Care. Your sermon during the funeral mass will forever be cherished in our hearts. Brian Terry's rendition of her favorite hymn, along with the choir's and organist's beautiful performances, added a profound sense of peace and solace. We're also immensely grateful to the readers, CWL members and Dorothy's Tops group for honoring her memory.

Dorothy’s faith in the Lord brings us solace in knowing that she now rests in peace. May God bless each of you for the love and support you have showered upon us.

Our deepest thanks extend to all who visited the funeral home and attended the funeral mass. A special mention of appreciation goes to Mindy Holloway and the entire Fillatre's team for their exceptional professionalism and kindness throughout this process. Also, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Mountain View 50+ Club for their gracious hosting of the family reception following the funeral. Your warmth and hospitality provided a comforting space for us to gather and share cherished memories of Dorothy.

"You will remain in our hearts forever”
