Passed peacefully away at the Calder Health Care Centre, Burgeo, on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 Dorothy Green at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; her sons Bruce (Cynthia) and Bud (Joyce); grandchildren: Wesley (Wendy), Jerry, Tanya (Barry); great granddaughter, Makala; sisters, Lillian, Mary, Evan (Wilf) and Louise (Frank); sister-in-law Barbara Simms; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Roland, son Wesley, parents Edgar and Alice Simms, brother Harold, brothers-in-law Arch Collier and James Pink. Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo on Monday evening from 7-9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place from St. John the Evangelist on Wednesday, November 29th at 2 PM with Deacon Brenda Strickland officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
