Obituary of Amanda Blake
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amanda Roxanne Blake announce her passing on November 28th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 52 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Thomas Blake; son: Dillon Blake; stepchildren: Michael Earle, Katie Hynes, and Kayla Hynes; and her grandchildren: Gemma, Charlotte, Rilee, and Lily. Also leaving to mourn are her brother: Todd Broomfield; and sisters: Susan Broomfield and Karen Matheson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Amanda was predeceased by her parents: Abraham and Verna Broomfield.
Visitations will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Friday December 1st, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
A service of remembrance will take place on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at 10:00 am from the Salvation Army Citadel in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL with Major Byron Kean officiating.
The family would like to send sincere thanks to the staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, the Salvation Army Church, gracious and caring staff at the Labrador Health Centre and the first responders for their help during this most difficult time.
