Sending love & our deepest condolences to Vandella, Grenfell & families,
We are rejoicing with Mother Olive as she is now with her Lord whom she served faithfully for so many years.
Brian and I have shared many wonderful meals at the table with Olive at Vandella & Grenfell’s home. We listened as her face would light up and tears would flow when she shared stories of old time church meetings on the Labrador, where the glory of God came and touched their lives.
On one of our visits, she was singing
“He touched me, Oh He touched me,
And Oh the joy that floods my soul,
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole”
Mother Olive heard the call from her Lord on Dec1st 2023 and slipped away from her earthy tent, and now made fully whole.
It’s sad for families and friends left behind to grieve, but those memories of her joy & praise live on. Those memories sustain us in the rough times.
