It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive Learning announce her passing on Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 at the Paddon Home in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Iris (Bobby Blanton), Barbara (Lorenzo Webber), George (Dena); nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers: Chesley Lethbridge and Howard Lethbridge; sisters: Viola Lethbridge Height, Verna Lethbridge Eastman and Avis Lethbridge Kremer, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Robert Learning (1997) and son Harris Learning (2009). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 3rd at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Andrews Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
