Bertha “Mildred” HUMBER John’s Beach, NL Feb. 18, 1936 - Mar. 31, 2010 Passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook after a courageous struggle, Mildred Humber at the age of 74.Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Donald Humber; children: Elaine Humber (Martin Beeton), Alan Humber (Hope Pilgrim) and Raymond Humber (Cynthia); grandchildren: Andrew Humber and Fiona Humber; brother Albert Wheeler (Ann); sisters-in-law: Mona Wheeler and Ruby Wheeler, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by sisters: Florence Batt, Jessie Sheppard, Melena Childs, Irene Sheppard, Eliza Druggett and Annie Sheppard; brothers: Frederick and Harold. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Ambrose Anglican Church in John’s Beach on Saturday, April 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
