Brian Francis McInnis
Loch Leven, NL
January 10, 1968 - December 9, 2023
It is with great sadness and heavy, broken hearts that the family of Brian McInnis announce the sudden passing of our dear son, brother, uncle, and nephew on December 9, 2023, at 55 years old.
Brian will be sadly missed by his father, Ronald, brothers Stephen (Lisa) and Alex, “Sandy.” He leaves behind two nieces, Hillary and Jenna, whom he loved dearly. Left to mourn is his special cousin and best friends Jimmy McInnis and his wife Denise, as well as his aunts and uncles Barb (Bob), Carl (Shirley), Rosemary (Gordon), Terry (Barb), Mike (Sandra), Charlie (Margie), Raymond (Rhonda), Jim (Barb), Walter, Angela, Agnes (John), Marie, and Ed (Marlie), as well as a large circle of relatives and friends, too numerous to mention, but certainly not forgotten.
Brian is predeceased by his mother Joan (2008), his brother Jason (1986), his uncle Donny (2013), and his aunt Gertrude (2018).
A friend to everyone he met, Brian lived in Loch Leven and found joy in his career as a Fisheries Guardian. He always wore a bright smile on his face; his laugh was just as infectious as the tunes he played on his guitar.
Brian will be deeply missed by everyone, but especially his father, with whom he spent most of his days.
A special thank you to Tony MacInnis, Brian Dominic, Dwayne MacInnis, and Tammy Coish for their invaluable support.
A memorial service and celebration of life for Brian will be held at a later date. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of love and support from friends and family and would like to thank everyone for their kind gestures and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Fillatre's Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL
