It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian Pearl Abbott announce her passing on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Tony White and Norman White (Lillian), both of Cox’s Cove; daughters: Louise (Russell) Park, Ontario, Sherry (Michael) Robinson, and Judy (Max Preston) Payne, both of Cox’s Cove; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister: Julie Osbourne, Corner Brook; step-daughters: Gaye (Gerard) Mattie, Nova Scotia, Rhoda Radziej, Nova Scotia; Stepson: Jim Abbott, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents: Norman and Annie Park; first husband: Walter White; second husband: Ralph Abbott; sisters: Glorina Park, Mildred Park, Jean Park, Geraldine Cox (Walter), Hilda Park (David); brothers: Raymond Park (Annie), Utley Park, Alfred Park; brother-in-law: Scott Osbourne; step-daughter: Geraldine (Stanley) Herrit; and son-in-law: Charlie Payne.

Friends and family may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox’s Cove on Wednesday, December 13^th from the hours of 7-9 p.m., as well as Thursday, December 14^th from the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15^th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Nicholas Anglican Church, with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
