David “Dave” Bernard Griffin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late David Bernard Griffin announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his mother: Ida Griffin (nee Dicks); his brother: Brent Griffin; his sons: David (Marie), Jarrod (Andrea), Lyle; granddaughters: Kerrington and Ava; as well as niece: Jessica; nephews: John (Jocelyn), Ryan, Dylan; great-nieces: Hailey and Hannah; great-nephew: Jacob; friends and other relatives.

David was predeceased by his father: Anthony Griffin; sister: Dianne; and nephew: Darryl Croft.

Dave loved all animals, especially his two dogs he had throughout the years, Rhino and Macky. He also had a passion for fly fishing, his favourite fishing spot was the lower Humber River.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Monday, December 18^th from the hours of 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart Parish, 469 Curling Street, on Tuesday, December 19^th at 10:30am with Father Lee Lainey officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the ICU unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
