It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman William James Perham announce his peaceful passing at the age of 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife: Joan (Knott) of 61 years; son: Monty (Sharon); daughter: Paula (Danny); grandchildren: Jonathan (Elise), Océane, Kristina (Mark), Kassandra; great-grandson: Xavier; brother: Verd (Lynn); sisters: Florence (Frank), Bertha (Clayton), Sheila (Jordan); sisters-in-law: Dora (Bert), Linda (Eric), Gladys, and Ann, as well as many extended family and friends who have been there for us.

Norman was predeceased by his parents: Merrill and Elizabeth Perham; mother and father-in-law: Wallace and Myrtle Knott; daughter-in-law Monique Perham; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill (Bertha), Randell (Bride), Clarence, Milton, Joyce (Edgar Upwards), and Bryce Butler.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook on Friday, December 22nd from the hours of 7:00-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 23rd at 2:00pm from Fillatre Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue, with Captain Kim Chan officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.

Thank you to the doctors who cared for him over the years, Dr. O’Driscoll, and the nurses on 3B. A special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses and doctors, Dr. Lafferty and Dr. White for the care they gave to Norman and family during this difficult time.
