It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hector Pemberton Wells announce his peaceful passing at the age of 94 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Paula Royset, Everett, Washington, Robert (Stella) Wells, Corner Brook and Cathy Wells (Stephen Whelan), Fernie, BC; grandchildren: Nick Breen (Melanie), Robyn (Tyler) Paton, Ocean (Bobby) Whelan, Piper Whelan; great-grandchildren: Aaron Breen, Sloan and Remy Paton; sisters-in-law: Sylvia Wells and Betty Wells. He also leaves to mourn the Rowsell family and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Irene; his parents: George and Ada Wells; sister: Cynthia (Herb); and brothers: John, Carlyle, Robert, and Richard.

The family would like to thank Mountainview Retirement Home management and staff for all the care given to dad, and to the nurses on 3B at Western Memorial. A special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses and doctors, Dr. Lafferty, Michelle, Donna, and social worker Janice for the care given to dad and family.

There will be no visitation at this time. A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
