Mc	DONALD George Bernard Corner Brook, NL WWII 	Veteran (Merchant Navy) March 14, 1913 - February 28, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late George McDonald announce his passing on Monday, February 28th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: brother: Augustine MacDonald, Mountainview Estates; step-brothers: Karl, Dan and Ken McDonald; step-sisters: Margaret Deans, Jean Waite, Genny McDonald and Julie Nilsen: sister-in-law: Loretta McDonald; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Mary McDonald, sisters: Gertrude O'Neil, Mary Collins, brothers: Allen and Joseph McDonald; step-sisters: Harriett Philpott, Blanche O'Brien, Myra Messervy and Kay Rogers; step-brother: Wallace McDonald. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, March 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Fr. Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
