July 21, 1927 – January 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Neville announce her passing on Friday, January 5^th, 2024 at Western Long Term, Palliative Care unit at the age of 96 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Sarah Webster (Larry), Diane Carter (Wayne), Sheila McLeod (Clarence) and Terrence Neville (Shirley); grandchildren, Robert Webster, Nicole Carter, Paul Carter, Tracey Curlew, Anthony Neville and Jamie Hackett; great grandchildren, Hailie and Zoey Park, Shawn Curlew; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Neville, 1996; parents Wallace and Jamima May Young; and brothers and sisters.  Vera being the last surviving member of her family.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to the Nurses, Doctors and Staff at the Palliative Care unit, who took such great care of their Mom, your love and kindness will be forever remembered.

Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8^th at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart Parish in Curling with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the NL West SPCA.
