It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Marg Shea announce her passing on Jan. 6, 2024 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 86 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters:  Carol (Keith) Styles, Dianne (Dennis) Smith; son Glenn (Donna); grandchildren:  Vanessa (Darrell) Cole, Lisa Styles, Denise (Ash) Stirling, Sheri (Andy) Higdon, April Shea; great-grandchildren:  Morgan & Abigal Higdon, William & Andrew Stirling, Callie & Oliver Samuel Cole; sister-in-law Ruby Shea as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Samuel Shea; parents: Henry and Annie Ingram; brothers-in-law:  Josh Shea, Glenn & Roselyn Shea.

Marg was an active member of St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Stephenville for many years.  She was a member of the ACW, Church Choir and a reader.  Marg also spent many years with the Girl Guides of Canada as a leader and member of the Chickadee Trefoil Guild.

To honor and respect Marg’s wishes cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL.

Visitation will take place on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024 between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.  The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Stephenville, NL with The Rev. Nicole Critch officiating.  Inurnment will take place in the spring of 2024.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine’s ACW.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
