It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorna Hulan announce her passing on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 60 years: Avery; children: Monty (Heather) and Joanne (Glen); her gifts from heaven, grandchildren: Jillian and Grant; in-laws: Allison (Patricia), Gordon (Rose), Sharon (Leo), Danny (Elizabeth), Kate (Owen); in-laws’ spouses: Pius, Phyllis, and Derm; and special friends: Audrey, Ross, Anne, and Vida.

She was predeceased by her parents: Ernest and Ann Strickland; siblings: Sylvia (Isaac), Sheila (Johnny), Marie, Ernie, Reggie, and Iris; special nephew: Todd; in-laws: Shirley (William), Sylvia (Spencer), Duncan, and Jocelyn.

As per the families wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Burial will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or Daffodil Place.
