Obituary of Edward Pottle

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Wilfred Pottle announce his passing on January 10, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 57 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Patty Dicker; his children: Joey (Belinda) and Danielle (Michael); grandchildren: Jordan and Lilah Mitsuk; brother: Kenny Pottle ( Kathy); sisters: Susan Dyson (Albert), Geraldine Penney (Grant), Karen Macdonald (Jason); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Edward was predeceased by his parents: Herb and Anita; maternal grandparents: Susan and Kenneth; paternal grandparents: Daniel and Lucy; brothers: Appie and Ron; nephews: Damien, Ernie, and Darren; nieces: Melinda-Sue, and Anita.

Visitations will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from the Anglican Church in Rigolet, NL with Rev Sarah Baikie officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Helping Hands Committee (Long Term Care) in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.

The family would like to send special thanks to the staff of Assisted Living, Long Term Care, and the Labrador Health Centre for their care of Edward over the past few years.
