Obituary of Nathan James Broomfield
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nathan James Broomfield, age 30 of Makkovik NL announce his passing on January 19th, 2024.
Nathan was predeceased by his Gram: Clara Ford, Grandparents: Emma and Eldred Broomfield, Uncles: Alder S. Ford and Brent Broomfield.
He is survived by parents: Todd and Ruth Broomfield, Brother Jordan Broomfield (Denika), Daughter Mia Lane and her mother Ocean.
Nathan was a Cook by trade as well as a Painter/Plasterer. He loved to cook for his family, family gatherings and for his crew on the fishing boats. He took pride in his skills as a painter and plasterer and was well known for his work. Nathan was an avid outdoorsman. When he wasn’t with his daughter, he spent much of his time out on the land hunting, fishing and wooding with his family and his friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 1:30 pm at the Makkovik Moravian Church with Marjorie Flowers officiating. All are welcome to attend.
