It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Myra Miller announce her passing on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Susan (Kevin), Donald, David and Douglas (Michelle); grandchildren: Steven, Teresa, Thomas (Chantelle), Jay and Brodie; 1 great-granddaughter Taylor; sisters-in-law: Donna Northcott, Anne Miller, Cackie Elliott and Judy (Hedley) Best; brother-in-law Toni Vuorela; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Miller, brothers Obediah, Tom and Don Northcott, sisters Emma Simpson and Effie Verge. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local food bank or to a charity of one’s choice.
