January 3, 1948 – February 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Lombard announce his peaceful passing on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 76 years. 

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Florence of 56 years; son Jeffery (Chantale), daughter Beverly Lombard, three precious grandsons: Ryan, Tyler and Dylan; one adorable great grandson Kane; sisters Joyce Comeau (Hubert) and Catherine Nixon (Royce); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Wall, Marina Park (Lawrence) and Ina Park; brother-in-law Ivan Smith; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Jean Baptiste and Viola Lombard, brother-in-law Gordon Park and sister-in-law Velma Smith.

Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, there will be no formal service at this time. 

The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the Palliative Care Unit, be assured the care and kindness shown to us did not go unnoticed.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour.
