It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Broomfield announce her passing on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at the Paddon Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay, at the age of 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Joan Andersen, Marjorie Guindon, and Wally Broomfield, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John; sons: Allan and Bernard, and daughter Vera. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home in Happy Valley Goose Bay on Tuesday, April 13th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 14th at 3:30 p.m. from the Moravian Church. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
