Howard “Robert” Leggo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Bob Leggo on February 6, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit at the age of 86 years.

 

Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Gord, Ruth (Harvey), Ada (Kent), Howard (Sharon) and Scott. Grandchildren: Robert, Miranda, Mellissa (Matthew), Michelle, Evan (Deanna), Justin (Melanie), Amy (Eric) and Matthew. Great grandchildren: Victoria, Daniel, Ashton, Eric, Lyla and Parker. Also left to mourn are brothers, John, Gerald (Teresa), sister Dianne (Terry). He was predeceased by the love of his life Shirley, his parents, Chesley and Bertha, mother and father-in-law Chesley and Mary; brothers: Kevin, Raymond and sister Mildred.

 

Bob will always be remembered as a man that loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and growing his own garden.

 

Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful caring staff on the Palliative Care Unit.

 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street from 1:00 – 3:00 with a short prayer service officiated by Rev. Cynthia Haines – Turner, followed by interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.

 

We hold you close within our hearts,

And there you will remain.

To walk with us throughout our lives

until we meet again.
