October 20, 1949 – February 12, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carolyn Faith Maddox announce her passing on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her siblings: Leo Jr. Maddox, Marion Maddox, Patricia (Sean) Spontaneo and Cindy Maddock; nieces and nephew: Cheryl (Randy) Welsh, Crystal Spontaneo (Kevin Gardner), Ashley (Darcy) Gale, Amanda (Kenny) Young and Sean Jr. Spontaneo; great nieces: Olivia Gardner, Mackenzie Gardner, Cierra Gale and Emery Gale; special aunt Loretta Grandy; special cousin Marion Power; caregivers Jackie Grant and Angela Skinner; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially her friends from the Adult Day Program at the VON and her Friday Night Bowling Team. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Velma Maddox, brother Mark Maddox. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, February 15 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the NL West SPCA.
