Obituary of Derrick Austin
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derrick Austin announce his passing on February 17th, 2024, at his private residence in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 64 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Beverly Austin; daughter: Heather Austin; brothers: Darren Austin (Tanya), Tyrone Austin (Kay) and Ray Austin; sisters: Dale Kent (Wayne), Tammie Harnum (Ed), Venessa Power (Bruce) and Joyce Leriche (Rick); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Derrick was predeceased by his parents: Gordon and Winnie Austin; and his sister: Debbie Faulkner.
Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Thursday February 22nd, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Helping Hands Committee, Long Term Care, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
