Margaret Ruth Harview

February 4, 1937 – February 23, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Harview announce her peaceful passing at the BSG Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the age of 87 years.

She was pre-deceased by parents Daniel and Bridget Kelly whom she lost young but loved her entire life; her infant daughter, Catherine; her brother Richard; her sisters Ernestine, Susan, Mary Ann, Jose and Lydia.

She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, William; her son, Scott (Sheila) and daughter, Cathy (Don); her precious grandchildren Meagan, Blake and Kara; her great-grandchildren, Lucea and Kai; her sisters Angela, Hannah and Sarah (Pius); her sisters-in-law Patsy and Eva (Joe).

Her wishes, like her life, are to be quiet and private. As such, there will be no visitation or funeral service. She will be laid to rest in Little Bay along side her parents at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Tranquility South at the Bay St George Long Term Care Centre. The care and kindness you gave to mom and her family over the last nearly 4 years is appreciated more than you’ll ever realize. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are angels who walk the earth for the incredibly compassionate and hard work you do.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Bay St George Sick Children’s Foundation or the Janeway Hospital, two organizations that held a special place in her heart.
