It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Thomas Targett announce his sudden passing on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his residence at the age of 86 years.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 32 years: Jean Targett; children: Tom (Beverley), Pauline (Paul), Jim, Rosemary (Stan), Rodney (Cindy); step-children: Renate (Bill), Robert (Heather); grandchildren: Roger, Randy, Janice-Rose, Robin, Andrew, Rosalee, Stephen, Jessica, Sarah, James, Mark, Kayla, Colleen, Adam, John, Erica, and Evan; 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Gerald was predeceased by his late wife Rose; daughter: Kimberley; mother: Bertha; father: Arthur; brothers: Fred, Arthur, Frank, Lester, Ronald, Joseph; and sister: Joan.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday, February 26^th from the hours of 7-9pm, as well as on Tuesday, February 27^th from the hours of 10am-12pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27^th at 2:00pm from All Saints Anglican Church, 44 Clarence Street with Reverend Canon Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church.
