Mildred Lillian Stewart

July 20, 1948 – March 2, 2024

It is with immense sadness and heartbreak that our family has to say goodbye to our beloved mother Mildred Stewart.

Mildred passed away peacefully at the age of 75 surrounded by her family on March 2, 2024.  Mildred was blessed to have a large family that loved her deeply.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Rod Stewart (Tracy), Maureen Duffney (Kerry), Tina Hackett (Eugene), Allie Stewart (Laverne), Paul Stewart (Lori), and Trevor Stewart (Susan). She is survived by her sister Pauline White (Leonard) and brothers Roy Park (Trudy), Mike Park, Silas Kervian and Ken Kervian (Tammy). She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren; Kerriann (Eugene), Craig (Lindsay), Cheryl, Mandy (Kevin), Ashley, Brandon, Alyssa (Matt), Amy, Peyton and Parker, as well as great-grandchildren Jayden, Liam, Ellie, Noah, Hunter, Hailey, Claire and Hayden.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband Thomas Stewart, her parents Jean and Alonzo Park, her sister Laverne Kervian and brothers Jim Park and Derek Park and her granddaughter Catelyn Stewart.

Mill was a family woman. Her love for those around her was unmatched, especially for  her 6 children “the lovely bunch of coconuts”. You could always find Mill making someone laugh with her constant jokes and witty personality. She loved to go to bingo and dances with her friends, she was the life of the party and lit up the room anywhere she went. Our mother taught us everything except how to live without her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care Protective Unit for their supportive care of Mill.
