MARY VERONICA MUGFORD (NEE WALSH) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Veronica Mugford announce her peaceful passing at her home on Friday, 16 April, 2010 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and forever loving memories, her husband George F. Mugford; children: Rita Callahan (Pat); Marie Murphy; Laura Caines (Jake); Gerry Mugford; Terence Mugford (Anne); Michael Mugford and special niece Sammy Walsh (Jacques); brothers: Jim (late Rosaleen), Gerald (Cora), Ron ( late Rella), Francis (late Geraldine) and Ted; sister: Margaret McCormack (Tom); sister-in-law: Jessie Smith (Tom); grandchildren: Kacey, Terimarie, Jaime, Nicole, Danielle, Stephen, Francesco and Mikayla, her great-grandchildren, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Edmund Walsh and Rita and Michael Foley, brothers Joseph and Edmund and her son Georgie. Visitation for family and close friends on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows’ Church with Monsignor Edwin Gale Presiding. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital.
