ROSE ELAINE SQUIRES Corner Brook, NL August 13, 1941 - April 19, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Elaine Squires announce her passing on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Interfaith Home For Seniors in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Raymond (Rhonda) Squires, Corner Brook, Paul Squires, New Brunswick and Debbie (Dave) Delaney, Corner Brook; 5 grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Courtney, Jordan and April, 2 special women who provided care for our mom for many years Vera and Vivian Brake, Curling; brothers: Edgar (Myrtle) Penny and Robert (Juanita) Penny both of Corner Brook; sisters: Valma Funk, USA, Isabelle Goobie, Corner Brook and Eva (Hector) Prosper, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Suzanna Penny, infant daughter, sisters Madeline, Verna and Inez. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 22 at 10:30 AM from the First Pentecostal Church, Premier Drive with Pastor Velmer Bessey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
