Frederick Arthur Kendell Nichols
April 1, 1943 – March 13, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Frederick Nichols announce his passing on March 13, 2024.

Frederick retired from his truck driving career after 50 years, he took great pride telling stories of time spent on the road. He had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed boating trips and fishing; however, his musical talent shined above the rest.

Leaving to mourn are his children Freddie, Lori (Wayne), Jason, and Sherry; grandchildren Faith, Adam, Dylan, Ryan, Brooke, AJ, Matthew, and Daniel; great grandchildren Liam and Luke; brothers Beaton (Beatrice) and Barry Nichols; brother-in-law Manson Bridger; sisters-in-law Joan Wilton and Gloria Cullihall; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Frederick was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Dorothy Nichols; the love of his life Marion (1998), wife Patsy (2008), and companion Gloria (2017); brother Bill (Mary) Wellon; sister Laura Bridger; brothers-in-law Doug Wilton and Eddie Cullihall; and sisters-in-law Barbara Nichols and Irene Potvin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake from the hours of 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. There will be no funeral service at this time.
