Obituary of Margaret Penunsi

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Penunsi announce her passing on March 15^th, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 64 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her common-law spouse: Pien Nuna; children: Karen Penunsi, Charlene Rich ( George), Kanani Penunsi, Philip Penunsi, Nicole Penunsi and Timothy Penunsi; grandchildren: Kansas, Jordan, Derek, Raphael, Georgia, Jaslene, Jadelynn, Kaylie Anna, Ali Tyson, Elsa, Tammysha, Collavan; greatgrandchildren: Colleen and Finn; brother: Gordon: sisters: Marie Lousie, Angela, Patricia, Mary Jane and Monica; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents: Sebastien and Mary Philomena Penunsi; siblings: Joseph, Mary Theresa, Naissa, Isabelle, Louison, Philip, Eric and Tommy.

A visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Sunday, March  17^th, 2024 from 2:00- 4:00 pm. A wake will take place at 62 Edwards Drive in Sheshatshiu, NL on Monday, March 18^th, 2024, at 4:00 pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 19^th, 2024, at the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL at 11:00 am with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL.
