Obituary of Betty Jane Warren

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Betty Warren, age 74 on March 15, 2024.

She will forever be held in the hearts and dearly missed by her devoted husband Patrick of 50 years and their children Wanda (John) and Christopher (Julia); their three grandchildren who she loved beyond words; Marissa, Jonathan and Carter. Betty is survived by her sister Cornelia, Linda (Gord) and her brothers Max (Nancy), Larry (Cheryl) and Jason (Patti). Sister in law’s Betty and Jane (Roy). As well as her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

She was predeceased by her parents: Mabel and Kenneth. Parent in law: Pearl and William. Brother in laws Clifford and Bill. 

The family would like to thank the Dr’s, nurses and staff at the Calder Health Care Center, Western Memorial Regional and Western Long Term Palliative Unit for all the compassion and support they received. A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her supportive caregiver Joyce for all her time , care and love she provided. 

Her presence will be deeply missed but the memories of her strength, kindness and love will always hold a place in the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 18, 2024 from 3-5 pm (family)and 7-9pm (friend's & community) at Faith United Church, Burgeo, NL. Followed by the funeral service Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 2pm with Rev. Matchem officiating. The burial will take place at the community cemetery following the church service.
