JULY 31, 1956 - MARCH 26, 2024


Donald Lorenzo Rumbolt age 67 of Mary’s Harbour NL passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends.

The funeral service took place March 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm with the Rev Jennifer Rumbolt officiating.

Donald was born July 31,  1956 to Lorenzo and Mary Rumbolt of Mary’s Harbour NL. He was one of thirteen children and was a twin brother to Doreen. Donald met the love of his life Myrtle Rumbolt and together they had a son Tyler which was his pride and joy. He loved hunting, trapping and fishing and also carrying on traditional skills which he taught his son. He was a very meticulous carpenter and a boat builder. He also enjoyed life on the outside and being on the water fishing crab, cod and Atlantic salmon throughout the years. In the winter time he enjoyed being in the woods cutting logs, firewood and enjoyed a good mug up too.

He leaves to mourn his wife Myrtle, son Tyler(Angie). Brothers Adolphus(Patsy), Lemuel(Lillian), Bruce(Linda), Andrew(Jackie), Gerald. Sisters Doreen Rumbolt and Joan Rumbolt, nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

Predecessor by parents, Lorenzo and Mary Rumbolt. Brothers Wallace, Henry, Roger, Melvin and Gary.
