Passed peacefully away at the Calder Health Care Centre on March 31, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Robert (Gloria) of Corner Brook, Calvin (Lorraine) of Calgary and Garry (Pauline) of Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Dean (Beverley), Tim (Angelique), Robbie (Corey), Patrick (Cara) and Corey (Jennifer); great-grandchildren: Brady, Samantha, Ezri, Isabella, Parker, Jaxion, Cole and Eva; step-sister Audrey (Melvin), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Rubert and Lyda Hare, mother and father-in-law Fred and Effie Simms, step sister Rose Marks, step father George Bill Ingram.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness shown to them at this time.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at Burgeo Community Cemetery.
