We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mildred Biggin (nee Wells) on April 26, 2024 at the age of 85 years. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to mourn her Children, Wanda (Gary) Dobbin, Mona (Wayne) Chmelyk, Ina (Mart) Lavers, Gary (Faye) Biggin, Lisa, Dwight (Rosalie) Biggin. Her grandchildren, Rene (Tameka) Dobbin, Sheila Dobbin, Dana Dobbin, William (Karen) Plowman, Coleman (Darcie) Chmelyk, Tracy (Clayton) Hughes, Christopher (Kara) Lavers, Kayla (Chuck) Azih, Brook (Matt) Biggin & Cameron (Chantal) Biggin.
Her great grandchildren, Noah (Danielle), Levi, Liam, Elle, Kate, Cole, Carla, Myia, Haylee, Leila, Gary, Laura, Tatyanna, Anastasia, Nevaeh, Silver, Chase, Parker, Callie, Bria, Shae, Jake, Mira, Zeke & Bo.
Her siblings, Ida (Elgin) Genge, Sterling (Eileen) Wells. Her sister-in-law Helen Wells, Cecilia Wells & Darlene Wells. Naomi Patey, Gloria (Cliff) Parsons, Sandra (Mark) Lowe, Richard (Nancy) Biggin & Jim (Hannah) Biggin.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Walter Biggin. Her son Walter (Jr) her twin boy and girl, her parents, Kenneth & Hannah Wells, her parents in laws, James & Patricia Biggin. Her grandson, Kevin Biggin, her great granddaughter, Claire Lavers, her siblings Frank (Agnes) Bennett, William (Lydia) Wells, Issac (Marion) Wells, Claude Wells, Howard Wells, Tom (Doris) Wells & Morgan. Her brother-in-law George Biggin, Theophilus Patey, John Goodman & Thomas Genge and sister-in-law Olive Biggin.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Al-Maliki and the nursing staff on Unit 3A at Western Memorial Regional Hospital & Dr’s Irfan and JeeWani and all the nursing staff at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre. The kitchen staff and the cleaning staff. The care she received went far beyond what she required.
