Obituary of David James Nuke

It is with great sadness that the family of the late David James Nuke announces his passing on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, Labrador, at the age of 64 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Patricia Nuke; children, Diane (Patrick), David James Jr., Peter, Davianna, and Simon (Stella); grandchildren: Madeline, Shuashem, Crystal, Terry, Georgina, Rihanna, Uapukun, Joseph, Cohen, Cianne, Meminteu, Ponas, Uasteskun, and Shane; great-grandchildren: Jakub, Kayla, Innya, Angelica, Alexis, Ponas Nuke, and Madeline Nuke; brother: Antuan Nuke; sister: Mary Ann; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

David was predeceased by his parents, Ponas and Madeline Nuke; his brothers, Patrick Nuke, Michael Nuke, and Ponas Nuke; his sister, Mary Dyke; and his granddaughter, Pishum Nuke

A visitation will be held at Fillatre Funeral Homes, Happy Valley, Goose Bay, NL, on Monday, April 29th, 2024, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

There will be a wake held in Sheshatshiu, NL, at the CYN on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at the CYN, Shesahtshiu, NL starting at 1:00 p.m. with Father Joe officiating. Interment to take place following the funeral service.
