Obituary of Sandra Viola Gale

Sandra Viola Gale
December 23, 1956 – May 5, 2024

The family of the Late Sandra Gale are saddened to announce their loved ones passing on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 67 years in Kitchener, ON.

Sandra was born and raised in Hampden, NL and moved to Ontario in 1987. She enjoyed baking and playing bingo but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves to mourn her husband and best friend for over 48 years, Robert John Gale; children Karen Behm (Kenny) and Robert Gale; grandchildren Christian, Brady, Shelby, Leah, Trevor (Danielle), and Taylor; great-grandchildren Hunter, Hailey, and Ryker; brothers David (Sheila), Ronald, and Randy (Pauline); mother-in-law Caroline A. Gale; brothers-in-law Bill (Pearl), Kevin (Tammy), Bennett, and Howard Stride; sisters-in-law Verna (Leroy) and Eileen (Mike); as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Mary Cassell; sisters Whillmena and Maude; and father-in-law Leslie J. Gale.

As per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a funeral service at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Hampden on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2 pm with Rev. Michael officiating. An Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. Donations can be made in honour of Sandra to the Cancer Society NL.
