The family of the late Patrick Ryan announce his passing on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Long Term Care facility in Guelph, Ontario at the age of 72 years.

Patrick was born in Calvert NL and lived many years in the Kitchener area. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters and brothers: Noreen (Jerry) Whelan, Pasadena NL, Terry (Patricia) Ryan, Burlington, ON, Elaine Ryan, Delta, B.C., Gemma (Wayne) Walsh, Pasadena NL, Murray, Kitchener, ON, Pius and Caroline, Vancouver, B.C. ; nieces and nephews: Craig (Laura) Whelan, Greg Ryan, Andrew (Alix) Ryan, Cyril (Krista) Walsh, Colin (Jackie) Walsh, Rochelle Ryan (Paul), Robyn (Ian) Weaver, Renee Ryan and Marti DeCoine; great-nieces and nephews: Julie, Joe, Jenny, Jemma, Sully and Drew Walsh and Maia Ryan; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends. Patrick was predeceased by his parents Martin and Mary Ryan and brothers Kevin, Martin Ryan Jr. of Corner Brook, NL and his sister-in-law, Darlene of Kitchener ON.

The family would like to thank the incredible staff at St Joseph’s L.T.C. Cedarwood neighborhood for their love, kindness, and care.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment ot follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
