Eddie,
You were always a part of my life. From an early age, I remember you being at the house, hanging out with Clydie or playing sports at the rec centre, vacations in North Harbour, to Christmas at my parent’s, or uncle Wallace's or your parent’s. You’ve always been in my life one way or another, more recently at last year’s Come Home year. It was so good to reconnect again, to meet your beautiful wife, Denise, and you got to meet my wife, Kathleen. It’s funny how life’s roads intersect to create lasting memories. You were so happy for me when I told you I was moving back to Labrador West and you were the first to volunteer to help me move. Even though we never quite got there, it just shows how wonderful a person you were. I’m gonna miss you buddy.
I want to thank you, Eddie, for all the good family memories that you helped create, for all the kindness and friendship you gave growing up in the small town of Wabush. Thank you for being the great, honest person you were. Love and miss you. Now, rest my friend.

Denise, Dylan, Justin and family, I am truly lost for words. One thing I can say for sure is I’m glad I got to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon with Eddie and his family before his passing. I will cherish this last memory. Rest assured Eddie loved his family and talked about you guys all the time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Eddie’s passing. I worked with Eddie on several Goose Bay contracts (from the DCC Halifax office) and chatted with him every time I visited the DCC Goose Bay office. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Eddie’s family. May he rest in peace.

I was really sorry to hear about Eddie’s passing. While I had only met him in person once in Gander, we had a fair amount of contact through work when I covered admin duties for DCC Goose Bay. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and coworkers. He will be missed for sure.

I’m so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. He and I worked together one summer with the town of Wabush summer program. We had a lot of good times on and off the job.
A bunch of us used to play football or rugby down by the bunkhouses when we were teenagers and one day someone brought Eddie down for a game. All I remember about that day is seeing a flash of someone speeding towards me and then all I could see was stars. He wasn’t that big but he sure was fast. I’ll never forget or remember it.

Denise and family, my deepest condolences on your loss. My memories of working with Eddie go back to our time with Blake and CBCL where we developed a mutual respect that stood the test of time. His recent trip to St Johns saw him take some of his precious time to share a meal and only reinforced our friendship to the end. The world had lost a good man (despite him being a Flyers fan)…….RIP Eddie.

So sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. I remember as a boy playing basketball with him at the Rec centre daily , always a great sportsman, kind and spirited. Just an all around nice guy. Always had a smile on. Most recently got to catch up with him at the Wabush CHY last July. Although we hadn’t seen each other for decades it felt like it was just days. We talked about those old days playing hoops and old basketball teams at JRS. It was great to see him again after all those years. My condolences to his family . A truly great Wabush boy/ Labradorian for sure! Rest easy Eddie my friend.
