Marcel Lavallee, born November 7th, 1944, in Blanc Sablon, Quebec, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 22nd, 2024.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry Lavallee and Adelaide Earle, and his siblings, Annie, Johnny and Lillian.
He will be dearly missed by his surviving siblings, Sister Rosalie, Olive, Evangeline, Norman, Patrick, and Clarence and by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Marcel was a quiet, kind, gentle man who loved the outdoors. As a fisherman he spent most of his life on the water. When he wasn’t fishing, he spent his time hunting, trapping, cleaning furs and helping to provide for the family. Marcel was a man with many skills, and with great patience and kindness, he shared his time, his knowledge and his love with everyone, but especially with his nieces and nephews, whom he loved unconditionally.
A memorial service will be held at St Theresa's Church, in Blanc Sablon, on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at 11:00 am.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Residence Beaux Sejours, for their care, kindness and love in his final years.
