Obituary of Janet Marie Wiscombe

WISCOMBE - Janet Marie
May 20, 1968 - May 23, 2024

 
The family of Janet Marie Wiscombe of Pasadena are saddened to announce her passing after her long courageous battle with cancer on May 23, 2024 at the age of 56. Janet passed away peacefully with her family by her side, just the way she wanted it.

 Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories, her loving husband Gary Wiscombe of 24 years. Children Sarah Pike (Adam), David Wiscombe (Leslie) and Krystal Bouwmeester (Bailey) and grandchildren Avery, Cordell, Emmett, Thea, and Gabriel who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother Jim Ball (Shirley), sisters Mary-Jane Ball and Tina Kelly, sisters-in-law Leah Keating (Dave) and Carol Penney (Fred) and many nieces and nephews. A special bond with Jo-Anne Penney who the family will forever be grateful for.

 Janet was predeceased by her parents George and Mary Ball, Eileen Ball and in-laws Gary and Rita Wiscombe as well as her brother-in-law Gerald Kelly.

 Janet fought cancer with a smile and a sense of humour that never failed. The family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at the Western Health Palliative Care Unit.

 Visitation will be held at St. David’s Anglican Church in Pasadena on Monday, May 27^th from 4:00-8:00pm with the funeral service being held on Tuesday, May 28^th at 2:00pm at St. David’s with interment to follow at the Humber Valley Cemetery, North Harbour Road, Pasadena. If so desired, donations to the Western Health Palliative Care Unit or the SPCA would be appreciated.
