Elizabeth Maud Keeping (nee Poole) December 19th, 1942 … May 6th, 2010 Port Aux Basques, NL Passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 6th, 2010 at her residence, Elizabeth Maud Keeping of Port Aux Basques at the age of 67 years. Leaving behind her husband of 50 years: Gerald; children: Karen (Stedman), Lisa (Mark), John (Pam) and Darren (Tina); grandchildren: Kristopher (Effie), Tyler (Jennie), Rochelle, Daniel, Amy, Aaron and Ryan; sisters: Donna (Aubrey) and Ruby (Lutz); brother: Junior; brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley, Morgan (Marina), Herbert and Beatrice, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her son: Danny and grandson: Johnathon; brother: John Matt; sisters: Barbara and Alma; sister-in-law: Elsie; brother-in-law: Francis; parents: Walter and Caroline Poole and mother-in-law: Priscilla Keeping. Friends visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m from St. James Anglican Church, with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
