Lorne Pink

September 28, 1944 - May 30, 2024

Joy in knowing means pain at passing and we will surely feel the pain of missing you.

Lorne passed peacefully at the Calder Health Care Center after an intense struggle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife of 55 years, Barb; his children: Lolita, Brad (Kim), George, Malcolm (Roxanne); his grandchildren: Chantelle, Sheena, Nicholas, Meghan, and Morgan and one very precious great grandson, Casey. He is also survived by his brothers Max (Doris), Corwin (Brenda) and Terry (Maria) and his sisters-in-law Nina, Alice (Roy), Blanche (Regis) Edna.

Lorne was pre-deceased by his brothers Gerald and Douglas and sisters-in-law Ada and Matilda.

Lorne was a very private person who was happiest when he was out in his boat or relaxing with his family at home. He was always reluctant to ask for help, but he was so very appreciative of the help and kindnesses that came his way.

Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican church in Burgeo with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. The interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
