It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Park announce her passing on June 15, 2024, at the age of 70 years at Western Memorial Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband: Russell Park; daughter: Jill (Stephen) and her children: Tommy (Kendra), Shelby (Zack), and Olivia; son: Rusty (Allison) and his children: Jalen, Shannon, and Elias; great-grandchildren: Emersyn, Easton, Blair, Saige, Avery, Everett; siblings: Roger (Veda), Nancy (Gerald), Ivy, Shirley, Stewart (Beverly); siblings-in-law: Medrick (Bernice), Susie, Mary (Alex), Sam (Jeannette), and Lou (Brenda). She will also be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, special nephew Riley Sheppard, her dog Charlee, extended family and close friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

Joan was pre-deceased by her parents: Stewart and Cedella Noseworthy; in-laws: Samuel and Olive Park; brother: Cyril Noseworthy (survived by Elsie); brothers-in-law: Luke and Jim; sisters-in-law: Hilda (Bill) and Hollie (Calvin).

Visitations will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 1:00pm at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove, with Reverend Terry Loder officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Nicholas Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted.
