August 15, 1917 - June 17, 2024

Elizabeth was born in Jackson’s Arm Newfoundland to a warm and loving family. She is predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Emma Lush, her brothers Max (Florence) and Reg (Hilda) Lush, her sisters Tryphena (Jim) Taylor, Gladys (Clyde) Puddester, Elsie (Earle) Noble and Marie (Bob) Porter. She is also predeceased by her husband Clement Williams, her son Paul Williams, her son in law Bob Arklie and her daughter in law Geraldine Williams. She is survived by her sons Reg and Wayne (Beverly) Williams and her daughters Joan Arklie, Marilyn (Earle) Proude and Carol Anne (Rob) McKay as well as twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was beloved “Aunt Beth” to her many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was known for her love of fun and family and her quick wit. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. David Russell officiating. The interment will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Lewisporte. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery Fund in Lewisporte.
